Tenant Fees

  • To cover the risk of property damage, Blain Firmin requires a 5 week tenancy deposit that will be protected by a Government-Authorised Scheme being the Deposit Protection Service in our case. As well as this we always require a x1 month’s rent in advance that is taken prior to the tenancy commencement.
  • Late rent payment fee where rent is overdue by more than 14 days at 3% above the Bank of England base rate for each day payment is outstanding
  • Actual loss to landlord for the early termination at request of the tenant, if you require blain firmin to advertise and attempt to find a tenant there is a charge of £300
  • Utilities, communication services and council tax not included in rent
 
  • Blain Firmin are a member of the Property Ombudsman redress scheme.
